1. Sila first - belief in one God Symbol: Star Meaning: star intended as a light, meaning nur cahyo. His star has 5 angles meant to illuminate the five basic state and the goal state is five. While the black color symbolizes the natural or original color. 
2. Sila second - just and civilized humanity Coat: chain Meaning: the chain of rectangular shaped symbolizing the male, while the circle is perembuat. The chain also symbolizes intertwined with each other and need to be united so that it becomes strong like a chain. 
3. third Sila - Indonesian unity Coat: banyan tree Meaning: banyan tree is a large tree where people can take shelter in the shade of the State of Indonesia. In addition, the banyan tree has vines and roots that spread everywhere but still comes from the same tree, as well as ethnic diversity unified under the name of Indonesia. 
4. Fourthly - democracy led by wisdom of deliberation / representation Coat: bull's head Meaning: a bull's head is a social animal who loves to get together as well as meetings where people had gathered to discuss something. 
5. Sila fifth - social justice for all Indonesian people Symbol: rice and cotton Meaning: rice and cotton are the basic needs of every human being food and clothing as an essential prerequisite for achieving prosperity which is the main tujuann for these five precepts.
