Well, NASA Space Portal Much Time

During this time, a portal that connects space and time between the earth and a different nature only found in science fiction movies. It could be, it is as if only the fantasy finally come true. Reportedly, NASA has found many portal between Earth and the sun.

Observations by NASA's THEMIS spacecraft indicate that the magnetic portals open dozens of times every day. They are usually located a few tens of thousands of kilometers from Earth.

Most portals are small and short-lived, others yawning, vast, and sustained. Tons of energetic particles can flow through the openings, heating Earth's upper atmosphere, triggering a geomagnetic storm and spark polar auroras.

"We call it the X-points or electron diffusion region," said physicist Jack Scudder of the University of Iowa. "They will be for the earth's magnetic field is connected to the Sun's magnetic field, creating a path of our own planet to the sun's atmosphere 93 million miles away."

To follow up on the results of research Scudder and colleagues, NASA is planning a mission called "MMS" - Magnetospheric Multiscale Mission, to be launched in 2014 to study the phenomenon of the portal. Four of the MMS spacecraft will be deployed in the Earth's magnetosphere, locate and observe the workings of these portals.

The problem to be faced is, magnetic portal is invisible, unstable, and difficult to understand. They open and close without warning "and there are no signs to guide us into," notes Scudder.

Whew, future exploration into the world ready to begin!
